Meaning of name AVYAAN (अव्यान) & why one should avoid keeping as baaby's name!!

Finally the Son of my Elder brother is here(Born).There is lot of excitement among family members specially about the name for the junior Tripathi of this Generation :) But there is a little problem.They have decided to name him as AVYAAN (अव्यान).Interestingly because someone has written a Blog justifying that meaning of name AVYAAN is that of Lord Vishnu or Lord Ganesha!! Which according to them means someone who is Perfect!!(which not even distantly is true!!) They have any how justified because it suited the parents!!Well as far as I am concerned I am opposing it!! and i am going to be a bit harsh here in my criticism for the so called Internet Intellectuals who for everything search the internet first and take whatever comes as sacrosanct truth! Well here is my Logical explanation that why one should avoid keeping this name as new born baby's name. VYAN (व्यान)in sanskrit and Ayurved means one of those 5 life giving VAYUS(वायु)of body which are namely VYAN,APAN,UDAN,SAMAN & PRAN Each of these Vayus are responsible for some or other functions of the Human body.VYAN vayu is responsible for making of FAT & MUSCLES in body. So AVYAN (अव्यान) means someone who lacks VYAN (व्यान) Vayu means someone who will have low or no formation of Fat and muscle in the Body which literally means no existence of physical body!! If any name means a lord' name it should be written somewhere in some authoritative text like Vishnu Sahastranam,Shiva sahastranm,Ganesh sahastranam etc.If it is written some where it is well and good and could be kept as baby's name.But name having even a slight blemish should not be kept as it adversely affects the baby him/herself. Name of the most powerful identity one has!! On a lighter note just because some Character in some KEKTA KAPOOR(Sorry EKTA KAPOOR) serial has kept it and it sounds good it can not be justified to be God's name itself!! Hopefully Majesty of LOGIC should prevail over Ignorant minds!! :)

TIME FOR SOME ACTION.......

WATCHING POKIRI by  MAHESH BABU(A TELUGU STAR).... was My first introduction to the  macho hood of south Indian superstars.. previously b4 coming to Bangalore.. I thought it was Rajinikanth only... but there are many in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada industries... The movie became quite famous when its remake in Hindi.. "WANTED" starred by salman khan was made.

Honestly, speaking b4 watching wanted never thought of watching any Telugu and Tamil cinema.. but,wanted paved the path and finally saw POKIRI with English  subtitles... and frankly speaking POKIRI was much-2 better than WANTED...:-)(even though i like salman...) 

 but,I disliked it also to some sense...

Liking in the sense.. the movie has a surprise  package of a undercover cop i.e Mahesh babu playing the role of an I.P.S officer.. particularly his introduction part.. now,what i dint like in movie was complete non-sense action sequences(speaking honestly I liked it why?? I will clear later in this post only..:-))

 

hero beating 10 villains together, 1 of the villain out of fear to be beaten up by hero jumps out of the running train.. what's that?? and Moreover, The pledge taken by hero after his I.P.S traing "MAIN ISHWAR KI SAPATH LETA HUN KI MAIN BHARAT KE SAMVIDHAN KE PRATI EKNITHA RAHUNGA"(I pledge that I will abide by the Indian constitution and will remain loyal to it.. watch the clip above..)

And where was his pledge while killing those criminals??? shouldn't he remember the article 14 of Indian constitution which gives right to equality to every citizen...in fundamental rights???? or he has not read about "HABEAS CORPUS" writ???? whatever, some scenes of the movie were crap..... and not related to ground realities...... I thought in my mind and closed the chapter................

Shitanshu jaldi kar yar late ho jayenge fest ke liye........... was the concerned voice of  ADARSH my present  room partner and and then a good friend....Bus 2 minute..... two aage badh main aa raha hun gate lock karke..was my ideal reply... I must tell you I m quite notoriously known for my unpunctuality (and on a serious note i hv to work on it).. and i usualy give the same reply when i m late for college and they keep waiting for me.......;)

 actually, the above scene is our preparation for the fest in RV engg college.. there v have participated in quiz and public opinion conducted by daily "THE HINDU"... 

Though we lost in quiz............

but public opinion part was very interesting.. v had some imminent personalities from the field of politics,education,cinema,art of living etc etc.. and we were discussing about.. present Indian education system...

every one was talking change change......I was also among them..

and when the debate organiser asked me how would you change.. I told I would like to teach two under privileged children and help dem to become something in life.. rather than sitting here and talking simply about the change(well my words were in synchronisation of my action as i used to teach under privileged children when i was in my state i.e bihar)

I got thunder applaud for my remarks......

even participants told me that It will be very good if i keep up my  same spirit in next 20 years.. and obviously  my reply was in affirmation...

This was the 2nd day in the RV college of engineering the fest was over by now and it was 4 clock evening..me,Adarsh and Arpit were job less.... then we thought of going to gopalan mall near to the college and watch a movie in multiplex...

we took up an auto... to put down his meter the rate to go to goplana mall was rs 14...minimum rate..while being in auto..discussion started about her.......(GUESS WHO??) Arpit was very brutal in his remark... while saying as.. shitanshu  uski (the other guy who liked her was good friend of arpit) to bat hoti hai usse... wo pata lega.... use(that guy will get her the process is on!!).. are personality hai apne**** ki(he was talkin about that guy.... and trying to under evaluate me compared to that guy)... actually it was a kind of love triangle....(me, her and that guy).. wont take der name......but,his sarcastic remark made my blood pressure go high........I guess if i had b.p machine certainly my b.p would show 180-110... my mind was just bursting..but,i dint say anything... Finally, We reached gopalan mall... I dint have change nor the Arpit and Adarsh...so i gave him rs 20..... and asked for the change.....

the auto wallah to my surprise asked for rs 10 more... he told its rs 30 from RV college to gopalan...And started his auto...(actually, it was the way to keep the change.. by being aggressive.. attack is the best defense u know.. used by him) I stopped him saying but, the government has fixed the rate,u have to give the change... I was very firm in my voice.. he told 'here we decide what's the rate not the government...but, still i was firm and asked him the change.. firmer even this time... The guy became aggressive.. he told something vulgar in Kannada...(I could figure out from his gestures and even showed his hand in abusive manner perhaps threat of hitting me if i dare to stop him in anymore).. now this was enough for me.... i took his hand and almost snatch him out of the auto(though he dint come out a healthy guy of 32-33 years) but, my attempt shook him up...

then the usual flow of abuses started from my side...u MA$%#%6...d ,s**e,h***i... u will hit me??????

You dont know who I am???  my uncle  is the "ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE,BANGALORE TRAFFIC" and I told loudly Adarsh to note down his driver no.(well this is the good thing about Bangalore police every auto wallah vl have his id displayed at the back of front seat and his concerned police station name.. u can complain, in case of any atrocity from their side.. a useful law..:-))

I took out my mobile and started writing his details..and pretending to call some one.. 

and aha !!!

the guy got scared he started his auto and escaped from der... but, stopped  after 100-200 mtrs from my place...

my wrath was still not satisfied..I keep abusing him..and dare to ask him more money in the future from any commuter...the guy was watching from his auto at me  for some time, i even symbolised him to come back.. showing  my increased confidence and bravery..lol.:-D... but, he started his auto and went off.......

I dont  know what was that wrath against  the strong corruption.. deep rooted in the psyche of people or the wrath against... the Arpit's remarks about me,her and that guy...... couldn't figure out even after trying hard....... 

Although i din get my change but, I felt like MAHESH BABU of POKIRI for those 3 minutes........(hypocrite huh????? going according 2 ma previous comments in the post...?? :-)  )

Arpit was watching me  out of mixed expression.........(must say surprised) he dint tell me anything  afterwards....not a single word.......he was quite uncomfortable with me even while watching the movie....... But, I din like his non comfort........ But, I liked his Uncomfort for the remark made on me.. some minutes ago....... and I could easily sense in his eyes...................................!!!!!!!!!!(too scary huh???)

And ya there is no my uncle as such the "ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, BANGALORE,TRAFFIC.... It was a brain game played by me with the auto wallah....... and guess I m quite master in this............lol..:-D  ( Vl tell u about some other adventures l8r on...)

 that was the description i wrote in one of the slam book of a girl....my batch mate...

I remember those days how honest were those.. in everything..., in actions, in thoughts... The blood used to boil at every bad thing happening in the country.. Used to jump with joy on victory of India over Pakistan in Kargil war..,would like to watch "BORDER","LAKSHYA","SWADESH" ,"GANGAJAL"  again and again.. and get testosterone level high day and night used to visualize oneself as FUTURE ARMY OFFICER fighting with enemies dieing for the country in the battle field... and being honored after death... why those pure thoughts are not coming now????? what happened?? what went wrong?? hv i become matured???? or become so called"SMART" to not to take up responsibility of my country????? or in other world cunning enough to get way from my responsibility towards my country??. or just an another addition in the list of materialistic elite people who dream high for their own very comfort but do not dream high for their country....where are those teaching of swami VIVEKANANDA...?? have  they lost their influence??? y my blood is not boiling after reading those thought provoking lines.??? Where is that happiness that used to come after  reading heroic act of CHANDRA SHEKHAR AZAD AND  SHAHID-E-AZAM BHAGAT SINGH???perhaps I have grown up now..the 21 year old..but, answers are still not found..............!!!!!!

NO LAW ITS ENGINEERING.............!!!!!!

No law for u is it clear??????? it was the reaction  of my mother... when I proposed my cherished dream of doing the "LAW".. how did u get that thing suddenly in mind beta???? that too after preparing 1 year for IIT????? I cant forget the reaction of her face that was  mixed with surprise and fear.. surprise i have elaborated above and fear of people that what they will say...This was the most critical problem with mother c always thinks in terms of others... But, even I was not ready to give up easily.. I told- its not sudden maa.. I have aptitude for this.. during my preparation for engineering I got to know my limitations... I cant pursue engineering anymore..
where u will study Law?? I told I have given CLAT(common law admission test) rank is not very good but i m getting two law colleges one is in Dehradoon which is considering CLAT score.. and other in Lucknow....
Lawyers life is very difficult.. they dont have stability in their initial years.. engineers starts earning at the age of 22-23.. bla bla bla..it was their argument(oder relatives for whom it was non of their buisness)My argument was I got only 15 days to prepare 4 CLAT..and got 110 out of 200... let me get admission in any avg colg vl try for CLAT next year and vl join any premier law school.. I told with brimming confidence..

its better than doing engineering.. where i m not interested at all....... Moreover,finally i have to prepare for I.A.S  the subjects i vl study in law I can choose for I.A.S.. my sound argument..

Only limited subjects are der to choose from engineering back ground... i.e mechanical,civil,chemical,electrical etc.. and no COMPUTER SCIENCE.. so In engineering I need to take up two things together one my engg subjects and other my i.a.s optionals.. pursuing law vl lessens the burden...MOREVER,I gave the example of many ias toppers who being from engg back ground chose for humanity as de had genuine interest in dat..I cited the example of MR. ANURAG SRIVASTAV AIR # 27,2007 BATCH.. he opted 4 history and pub ad.. despite graduating from mechanical engg... as he had tremendous interest in that..(I had read his full interview in competition success  review) my argument

They took this in other manner see he was an engineer still he cleared using humanity...their argument

He was interested in engineering too..so i m interested in LAW.. I m not like him.. every individual is unique  MOREOVER, he prepared after quitting his job after 6 months..
I want to do it parallel y during my graduation  days only
as it is a very tough exams.. syllabus is huge early starters have edge over others.. my argument..


now the final argument came from mother side-"what ever u want to do law or whar ever.. do it after engineering...... no more arguments...

I tried to say 3 years law after 4 years of engineering 7 years...and u dont allow me to take up integrated course of 5 yrs...also, government is planning to start I.J.S(Indian judicail services) at par with ias and ips..for which law degree is required.so,in case i don get in to ias or ips vl opt for that also.. anyway vl be related to my core interest  social services.. my visionary argument.

who cares an engineering degree in legal practice.. my argument..


Now it was not the argument but the final  verdict given by the highest court of ma family i.e my mother ... no law no law.. prepare yourself   2 go to Bangalore... for 2nd counselling  to bag your seat in engineering....

My heart broke... even after giving sound arguments I had lost my case....A fear of again going thru the trauma of studying engineering flashed in my mind.. i got scared.perhaps it was the only thing...which i never wanted to do...and I WAS ENDING BY PURSUING IT...

At that time thought why there  is DEMOCRACY at governmental level only  not at family level????? even there also  should be democratic rights of family members.. and rights of minority family members (the youngest and having less support) should also be protected....... I almost cried without letting anyone to figure out....... and tried to find out FUTURE in my PAST..................

FEELING THE FIRE WITHIN.........

It was year 2005... place was a small town of Bihar Siwan. there were preparation of Bihar assembly elections were going on at all levels....people tired of SASURAL raj.. full form-

 wanted a change in the state leadership of the government.. the 15 years of dark age had to end finally.. and the concurrent people in the power had also envisaged that 

'JANTA" cant be fooled now.. a change was must.. Morever,adding to the vows of ruling party  the ELECTION COMMISSION of India has appointed Shri K.J Rao as its main advisor..(no need to give introduction of this no nonsense,honest non I.A.S officier) :-) who came in  to ensure free and fair elections out of this chaotic  state.. the wind of changes were immediately  felt.. when the DM and S.P of Siwan were changed and the new young and honest officers (directly i.a.s and i.p.s recruits) were given the charge.. yes in Lalu reign mostly direct i.a.s and i.ap.s officers were shunted in state secretariat wid no specific  job assigned.. and all the promoted  officers of state public service commission were provided with district. the reason being their inherent loyality to their political masters.. they(officers of Spsc) were given districts as they were non- performing, and in lalu-Rabri  reign  INDECISION by any officer was BEST DECISION regarding any administrative matters. before going ahead let me introduce Siwan to you my home district. it is known for a GOOD reason as well as one BAD reason.good reason was it was the birth place of our 1st president of independent India Dr. Rajendra Prasad. and bad reason was it was under the dictatorship rule of SAHEB i.e Md shahabuddin the M.P as well as known criminal.. for the last 15 years in siwan there  was no RULE OF LAW  der was rule of SAHEB.. the story is long.. vl describe some other day in detail..The newly appointed officiers C.K ANIL (DM) AND RATN SANJAY(SP) not only were better than expected in holding the free and fair assembly elections but also  proved the competency of  I.A.S  AND I.P.S  over their  spsc counterparts(sorry 2 concerned but its true) .. they held "JANTA DARBAR" listened people's grievances,found  remedies on the spot... suspended corrupt officials of district and police administration.. their was a Strong blow of a kind of revolution in Bihar over these positive development moreover, the neighboring districts also got very honest officers that made the conditions of so called"JAN PRATINIDHI" alias criminals in disguise even more worse..read http://www.mid-day.com/news/2005/feb/104545.htm, and http://ia.rediff.com/news/2005/feb/18siwan.htm

 there are many stories vl narrate later..:) these heroic act of these officers(yes in Bihar those time doing one's duty was itself heroic). made them celebrity in the eyes of people..Their good deeds were acknowledge even by the people sitting at higher corridors of power in NEW DELHI.. . Every child and teen ager now wanted to become like another C.k anil and Ratn sanjay...There was one more teen ager of 16 year.. who also got excited by the very idea of holding district as D.M and  doing justice to people.. to throw away the criminals like saheb... and ensure proper law and order in the district..so innocent and pure were HIS  thoughts that the boy used to stop whenever he used to see those red light cars passing by to have a look on his REAL life heroes.. his heart used to profound with.. mixed emotions of excitement ,thrill and respect when he used to hear their.. honest efforts..even though his 10th board exams were due next month..he could not resist the temptation to watch television in search of any such heroic act of his "HEROES".. used to read news paper and a smile used to flash on his lips when he read" D.M and S.P toghether... held janta darbar ,solved over 500 cases on the spot in 1 day..%43&(*@$ criminal was caught beaten badly in police custody.. right hand of sahabuddin caught.. ready  to become approver for police.....So much!!!!!! one can change.. if one becomes D.M??????  he used to ask his father.. and his father used to smile..and nod his head in affirmation... consciously and  sub-consciously about N  number of times he wud have visualised himself as D.M of his district..those were the day who gave him the vision..those were the people.. who taught him the integrity..not directly related with him by the way.. and i think indirect impact of anything has greater impact.... he was very happy to be administered by honest people.. becoz he never had expected that to happen in his district.. His heroes Had  gone,but,their deeds were still fresh in his mind.. even after 5 years...like it has just happened yesterday..it also made his resolution to clear prestigious I.A.S  exam  ,more firm and determined... No need to tell who was that teenager..:-)
